Modify Document List in Grid View
You can modify the Document List in the Grid View. The Grid View shows the metadata columns for each document. The first column in the grid shows the file extension and relational field icons. You can also arrange these columns in any order. You can filter the short text, single-choice, multiple-choice, Boolean, and date columns. You can also sort documents using up to three sorting levels.
For the projects created in Epiq Discover release 4.8 or later, you can choose to view unique or all documents.
To modify the Document List in the Grid View, complete the following procedure.

Filter the Document List
To view unique or all documents, follow these steps.

The system caches this setting and applies it across the project (Inspect, Review, List View, Grid View, and Undocked Viewer) until you change the setting or clear your browser cache.
To apply filters to a column, in the column header, click Filter
and then do one of the following.-
For single choice, multiple choice, and Boolean, select one or more values. To select or clear all values, use .

For text fields, enter the text to search for.

For date fields, choose an operator and select a date or date range.

Select to return documents with no values in the field.

Click .

When a column has an active filter, the Filter
icon remains visible. At the top of the Document List, shows the applied filters.

To remove filters, do one of the following.

To remove a filter from a single column, click Filter
and then . -
To remove all filters, click
next to .
Sort the Document List
To sort the Document List, follow these steps.

Click the column header to define the primary sort as the first sorting level.

Click a column header once to sort ascending, shown by an arrow pointing up. Click the column header again to sort descending, shown by an arrow pointing down.

To remove sorting from a column, click an ascending sorted column twice or a descending sorted column once.

If a column displays ellipses (…), expand column by dragging the right column border to the right.

Click up to two more columns for additional sorting levels.

Each sorted column displays a number in the order you select it. The number represents the sort level.

After you define sorting, if you hide a sorted column through
> , the system clears all sorting.

Manage columns in the Document List
To rearrange the columns, follow these steps.

To add or remove columns, follow these steps.

To add columns, in , select the fields you want to appear and click to move them to .

To hide columns from display, select the fields in and click .

To select multiple individual fields, hold Ctrl and select each field.

To select a range of fields, hold Shift and select the first and last field in the range.

If you select a long text field, understand that the system sorts the values up to and including 1024 characters. If the field value contains more characters, that value appears at the bottom of the sort.

The order of the fields in determines the order in the Document List. Move the fields up
or down
as needed.

To show or hide the file extension and relational field icons, select
and then do the following. Changing these settings in the Grid View does not affect the settings in the other views.-
Move the toggle to the right to show the file extension, or to the left to hide it.

Change number of documents per page
To change the number of documents shown per page, at the bottom of the Document List, select a number from .

By default, the Document List displays 50 documents per page.

When you select a number from , the setting applies to both Inspect and Review.

When you change the documents per page in a project, the setting is cached and applies to all projects, including new projects, until you change it or clear the browser cache. Clearing the browser cache resets the default to 50 documents per page.
